About Raju Paragi
Raju lives with his parents and two younger brothers, Manish and Bansi, in a small mud hut in a remote village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about a third of a mile from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
His father is an unskilled laborer, which means he gets arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Raju helps her with gardening, fetching water, cooking meals, and babysitting siblings. Raju wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys reading and playing soccer. His favorite foods are chapatti and fish. Please pray for Raju; he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Raju needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
