About Yamini Nai
Yamini lives with her parents, grandmother, and her sister Gauri in a small mud hut. Her mother is a homemaker and her father is a very low-wage laborer. They live in a small, poor village located in the jungles of Northern India. Yamini enjoys helping her mother with household chores such as handwashing the dishes and clothes, hanging the clothes on bushes to dry, walking down to the village well to fill jugs with water for their daily use of cooking and cleaning, collecting firewood and cow pies for her mom to use to cook on, and tending their small garden.
Yamini dreams of being a teacher someday. She really enjoys reading. In her free time, you will find her playing badminton with her friends. The family survives on a very simple basic diet of dal (lentils) and white rice and chapati, which is an Indian flatbread.
Please pray for Yamini, her family, and her village; they are generations old Hindus and we pray the entire village will come to know the Lord. Your sponsorship will provide education for Yamini, her school supplies, a nutritious lunch, uniform and shoes, and other basic needs.
Thank you for bringing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Yamini!
