About Yael Yamima Sao

Yael belongs to a broken family. Her parents are divorced and for the last few years Yael lived with her maternal grandparents. Together they attend church regularly and on special occasions they cook food for the community. They have regular family prayers in the evening. The grandparents' financial condition is not good and they cannot send Yael to a good school. Yael has an elder sister who just graduated from the Mercy Home program and is now in Nursing College.

Yael was blessed to join the Mercy Home family in July of 2024. She likes the sweet Christian atmosphere there and her new school. She loves the daily devotionals and enjoys singing and dancing and praising the Lord. Yael is good at studies and she wants to become a good nurse someday. In her spare time, she likes to play cricket and carom. Her favorite foods are rice, lentils, and chicken curry. Her favorite color is blue.
