About Vijaya Verdhan
Vijaya Verdhan lives with her parents and one brother in a brick and concrete house in a town in Central India. The town is located in a plains where the climate is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals.
Vijaya helps with household chores. Her father is a social worker and her mother is a homemaker. Vijaya wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys dancing, reading, and playing soccer. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), vegetables, chicken, and chapatti.
Vijaya comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Vijaya needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
