Veronika Masih lives with her parents in a brick and concrete house in a town in Central India. The town is located on the plains where the climate is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Veronika helps with fetching water, cooking meals, and doing household chores. Her father is a security guard and her mother is a homemaker. Veronika wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys dancing, singing, reading, and playing badminton. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chicken.
Veronika comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Veronika needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
