About Upasna Verma

Upasna Verma lives with her mother and one brother in a small brick and mud house in a remote village located in the plains of Central India. The climate in the village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Upasna's father recently passed away. Her mother is supporting her family by doing some seamstress work. Upasna helps her mom with household chores. Upasna wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys dancing, reading, science, and drawing. She also enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and vegetables.
Upasna comes from a Hindu family with no believers, however, at our Learning Center, she is learning about Jesus Christ; please pray for Upasna and her family. Upasna needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
