About Umesh Kori

Umesh lives with his parents and one brother in a small brick-and-mud house in a town in Central India. The climate in this town is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoons. The town is located in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and sometimes propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 1000 meters from their home, a very long distance to get water for daily use.

Umesh likes to help with gardening. His father is a laborer while his mother is a cook. Umesh wants to become an engineer one day. He enjoys singing and reading along with playing soccer and carom, a board game in India. His favorite foods are rice, vegetarian, and chapatti.

Please pray for Umesh as he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Umesh needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniforms, books, school bags, and other needs.
