About Umang Deshrajan
Umang lives with her parents in a small brick and mud house in a remote village located in the jungle of Northern India. The climate in this area is hot and humid and also experiences drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well close to their house.
Her father is an unskilled laborer, which means he gets arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. Her mother is a homemaker. Umang dreams of becoming a doctor one day. She loves singing and dancing. She likes playing board games. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Umang; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Umang needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs. Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Umang!
