About Tamana Kaur
Tamana lives with her parents, grandparents, and two brothers in a brick-and-mud house in a small village in North-West India. The village is located in a valley with a hot climate that also experiences monsoons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.
Tamana helps with household chores. Her father is a low-wage laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Tamana wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading along with playing carom. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, veggies, chicken, and chapatti.
Tamana comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday. Tamana needs your help to provide her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Tamana!
