About Subhash Bheel
Note: Subhash Bheel had not been doing well in studies and have not returned to MH in January 2019 after the Christmas break.
Raised by first-generation Christian parents, Shubhash has experienced the amazing transformation of Christ in his family. Several years ago, Shubhash's parents learned of the Gospel and converted from Hinduism to Christianity. Now, instead of worshipping idols out of fear, they worship the true God in deep love and gratitude. However, identifying as followers of Christ in a Hindu culture hostile to the Gospel has caused problems for Subhash and his family. Subhash and his six siblings experienced persecution for their faith from others in their home village.
Seeking a safe and Christ-centered home for Subhash and his brother Manish, their parents sought out the Mercy Home. At the Mercy Home, Subhash has the opportunity to attend a quality school. He is a dedicated student and aspires to attend nursing school in the future. Most importantly, Subhash now attends church weekly and participates in daily Bible studies led by mature Christians. In his spare time, Subhash enjoys playing cricket and volleyball with his friends, as well as reading, singing, and dancing. His favorite activity is going for walks in nature, admiring God's creation. His favorite food is maize (corn) bread.
