About Sonia Kaur
Sonia lives with her parents, grandparents, and sisters, Sara and Aradhna in a brick-and-mud house in a small village in North-West India. The village is located in a valley. The climate in this village is hot and humid in the summer and cold in the winter. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well near their home.
Sonia helps with chores the best she can. Her father is a low-wage laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Sonia wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys board games. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, veggies, chicken, and chapatti.
Sonia comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and read the Bible daily. Sonia needs your help to provide her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Sonia!
