About Shashi Prajapati
Shashi lives with her parents and two sisters in a small mud house in a remote village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals.
Shashi helps with gardening and fetching water. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a teacher. Shashi wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys dancing and singing along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Shashi comes from a Hindu family of seekers. They attend church and pray with the pastors often. Shashi needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
