About Sanket Thakur
Sanket Thakur lives with his parents, two brothers and one sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Sanket helps with fetching water. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Sanket wants to become an engineer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Sanket and his family. Sanket needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Sanket!
