About Sanjay Ahari

Sanjay lives with his parents, one brother, and one sister in a mud house in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. The village is located near a river. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 1000 meters from their home.

Sanjay helps with fetching water from the well as they have no running water at their home. His father is a farmer while his mother is a homemaker. Sanjay wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.

Sanjay comes from a Christian family. They are attending church each Sunday. Sanjay needs your help to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
