About Sani Kumar

Sani comes from a small village in Northern India. He lives in a small mud-and-brick house with his grandparents and one sister. During the summer, the village experiences intense humid heat resulting from the heavy monsoon rains. To help his grandparents with household chores, Sani fetches water from the well near their home. Before moving in with their grandparents, Sani and his sister were trapped in a dangerous family situation. Their father was an abusive alcoholic who spent the family's money to support his habit.

Fortunately, Sani's grandparents can care for his basic needs, however, they cannot provide for his school costs. Sani needs help in order to cover his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other essentials. He aspires to become an airplane pilot in the future. Sani enjoys playing carom, board games, and cricket. His favorite foods are dal, rice, vegetarian dishes, chapatti, and eggs. Although they still practice their traditional Hindu religion, Sani and his family are exploring Christianity. Please pray that Sani and his family will continue to pursue the God of the Bible.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Sani!
