About Sameer Nuniya

Sameer lives with his mother, father, and his sister Sanjeevni. They live in a small, poor village in Central India in a one-room mud hut near a river. Their village water well is over 50 meters away and they must carry jugs to fetch their daily water. Sameer's mother is a homemaker and his father is a low-wage laborer.

Sameer dreams of being a teacher one day. He enjoys reading, drawing, and playing soccer and badminton with his friends. He enjoys helping his family with chores, such as handwashing dishes and clothes, hanging the clothes on bushes to dry, collecting firewood and cow pies for the family to use as fuel to cook on, and fetching water. The family's diet is very simple, consisting of Dal (lentils), White Rice, and Chapati, an Indian Flatbread. On special occasions, they will kill a chicken and enjoy Chicken Curry.

Please pray for Sameer, his family, and his village. They are generations old Hindus and our prayer is that the entire village will come to know the Lord. Your sponsorship provides Sameer an education, school supplies, lunch, shoes, and other basic needs.

Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Sameer!
