About Rukhsar Khan

Rukhsar lives with her parents, grandparents, her brother Rihan, and sister Simran in a small brick-and-mud house in a town located in Central India by the lake and surrounded by jungles and mountains. The climate in this area is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.

Her father is an unskilled low-paid laborer. Her mother is a homemaker and Rukhsar helps her with household chores, fetching water from the well, and taking care of her younger siblings. Rukhsar wants to become a nurse one day. She loves to read and enjoys singing and dancing along with playing soccer and carom. Her favorite foods are dal, rice, vegetables, chicken, chapatti, and mutton.

Please pray for Rukhsar; she comes from a Muslim family with no believers. Rukhsar needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
