About Ram Singh Gound
Ram lives with his parents, two brothers, and four sisters in a small mud-hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Ram helps with household chores, cooking meals, and tending livestock. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Ram wants to become a doctor one day. He loves to read and enjoys cricket with his brothers and friends. He and his family live on a simple diet of dal, white rice, some vegetables, and chapati.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Ram and his family. Ram needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
