About Rahul Kharadi
Rahul lives with his parents, two brothers, and a sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in West India. This village is located in a valley, where the climate is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They do not have electricity. The water well the family uses is about 700 feet from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
His father is an unskilled low-wage laborer, which means he gets arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Rahul helps her with household chores and fetching water from the well. Rahul wants to become a teacher one day. He loves to read and enjoys playing kho-kho. He likes simple vegetarian meals and his favorite food is chapatti.
Rahul comes from a Christian family; they enjoy going to church each Sunday. Rahul needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Rahul!
