About Prem Gameti

Prem is from the Bheel Tribe and lives with his parents, two brothers, and one sister in a mud house in a small village in Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons and is located in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and dried cow pies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 300 meters from their home.

Prem helps with gardening, fetching water from the water well, and doing household chores. His father is a farmer while his mother is a homemaker. Prem wants to become a teacher one day. He loves to read and enjoys playing Cricket, Gilli Danda (Indian Stick Game), and Sitolia (Seven Stones Game). His favorite foods are dal, rice, veggies, chicken, chapatti and mutton.

Although they are still Hindu, they attend church each Sunday. They are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Prem and his family. Prem needs your support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
