About Pratiyush Samudre
Pratiyush lives with his mother, grandmother and two brothers in a small mud hut in a remote village surrounded by the jungles of Central India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences periods of monsoons and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is not too far from their home; they use large jugs to carry the water for all of their daily needs.
Pratiyush's father has recently passed away. Pratiyush took this very hard. His mother is a low wage unskilled laborer, she is the sole provider for the family. Pratiyush helps his mother with fetching water, cooking meals, and doing other household chores. Pratiyush wants to break this cycle of poverty and hopes to become an engineer one day. He loves to go to school and enjoys reading, drawing and playing soccer with his brothers and friends. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice. Please pray for Pratiyush as he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Pratiyush needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
