About Prashant Lodhi
Prashant lives with his parents, grandmother, and sister in a rural village in North India. His family's home is a small house made of mud and brick. Located on the plains, Prashant's village experiences intense heat in the summertime and heavy rainfall during the monsoon season. Unlike many families in their impoverished community, Prashant's family is fortunate to have limited electricity in their home. To cook meals, they burn wood and cow pies as fuel. Prashant helps his parents by collecting water from the well near their house.
Prashant's father is plagued by chronic health issues which often prevent him from participating in his work as a farmer. Treatments for his illness have left the family weighed down by medical debt. Prashant needs your help to pay his school fees, uniform, school books, bag, and other essentials. He aspires to continue his education to become an engineer. In his spare time, Prashant enjoys dancing, singing, playing with toys, and playing cricket. Rice, eggs, chapatti (Indian-style bread), vegetarian dishes, and dal (lentils) are some of his favorite foods. Although they still identify with their traditional Hindu religion, Prashant and his family have begun exploring Christianity. Please pray that they will continue to pursue the God of the Bible.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Prashant!
