About Prakash Gundiya
Hi, my name is Prakash. I came from a very small, poor village. I have one brother and four sisters. My father is our village tribal preacher. He also farmers a small plot of land to help take care of the family’s needs. My mom helps my dad in ministry, and farming, and takes care of the home. Our school is about 7 miles away. It is difficult in various severe seasons to attend as I would need to walk there every day. My family has seen how some of the nearby village children’s lives have changed since they were accepted at The Mercy Home. They are much smarter and deeply rooted in Christ from the teachings there. I have been praying hard that I too get this opportunity, and praise God, I have now been accepted to live at The Mercy Home!!

Here is an update from his Dorm Mother: Prakash enjoys playing with his new friends and going to school and Church. He is very good at learning Bible verses. He loves to sing worship songs and enjoys dancing. Prakash wants to become a teacher or a nurse one day. He loves playing soccer. Prakash enjoys all kinds of food and is so thankful to God for it.
