About Prabhat Prajapati
Prabhat lives with his mother, father, and two sisters. They live in a small, poor village located in Central India. They live in a one-room mud hut. His mother is a homemaker and his father works as a low-wage laborer. Prabhat enjoys helping his mother with chores, such as, collecting wood and cow pies that she uses as fuel to cook on, tending their small garden, and walking with his mom to the well, 100 meters away, to bring back water in jugs for their daily use.
Prabhat dreams of being a doctor where he can help the people of his village. He enjoys drawing and playing with the other village children. His family enjoys a simple diet of dal (lentils), white rice, and chapati, an Indian flatbread. On special occasions, they kill a chicken and enjoy Chicken Curry. Or sometimes their dad will catch a fish!
