About Pooja Ahari
Pooja lives with her parents, two brothers, and one sister in a mud house in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons and is located near a river. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 1000 meters from their home.
Pooja helps her momma with chores the best she can. Her father is a farmer while her mother is a homemaker. Pooja wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys dancing along with playing cricket. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Pooja comes from a Christian family. They are attending church each Sunday. Pooja needs your support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Pooja!
