About Pallavi Baiga

Pallavi lives with her parents and her sister Manjula in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains and experiences intense heat as well as alternating monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over half a mile from their home which makes gathering water time-consuming and laborious.

Her father is an unskilled low-wage laborer. Her mother is a homemaker and Pallavi helps with cooking meals, tending livestock, and household chores. Pallavi wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys dancing along with playing kho-kho, an Indian sport that is a bit like a team-based tag. Her favorite food is dal (lentils).

Please pray for Pallavi; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Pallavi needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Pallavi!
