About Nishan Singh

Nishan lives with his parents, grandparents, two brothers, and three sisters in a brick-and-mud house in a small village in North-West India. The village is located in a valley. The climate in this village is hot and humid in the summer and cold in the winter. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.

Nishan helps with tending their livestock. His father is a low-wage laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Nishan wants to become a lawyer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, veggies, and chicken.

Although they are still Sikh, they attend church each Sunday and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Nishan and his family. Nishan needs your help to provide his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
