Nirmala Prasad is from a small village in Central India. Her father is a first generation Christian. Nirmala lived at Mercy Home for many years. She says, “I loved the atmosphere and training at Mercy Home. It shaped my life!” Nirmala passed her college entrance exams to become accepted into the college Assistant Nurse program. Now she wants to concentrate on her nursing education and be a good nurse in order to help the sick people of India. Nursing has been her dream that she prays will become a reality. Nirmala is a quiet girl that has been a wonderful prayer warrior at Mercy Home.
