About Neha Suman Sona

Neha Suman Sona was our Asha Project student. She has graduated from High School with excellent grades and was accepted into B. Sc. Nursing Program. Neha comes from a very dedicated Christian family. Neha has one brother. Her father is a village preacher, and her mother is a first-generation Christian who is a stay home mom and takes care of the family. Neha is one of the singers at her church. The family often is facing persecution for their faith from the radical Hindus.
Neha is thankful to God for turning her dream of becoming a nurse into reality. She says, “I will be the first one in my extended family to go to a college. I am very excited about it. I have made my parents and grandparents very proud. I believe nursing is a noble profession. I consider it a great privilege to study in a Christian Nursing College. We have wonderful spiritual guidance and programs here. So please sponsor me and I will pray that God blesses you many times more for your generosity!”
