About Navdeep Kaur
Navdeep Kaur lives with her parents, grandparents, and two sisters in a small brick and mud house in a remote village located on plains of North India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well close to their house so they do not have to carry their water too far.
Navdeep helps with household chores. Her father is an unskilled laborer, while her mother is a homemaker. Understanding the value of education, Navdeep wants to become a teacher one day. She loves to read. In her spare time, Navdeep enjoys playing badminton with her siblings and friends. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti. Please pray for Navdeep, she comes from a Sikh family with no believers. Navdeep needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
