About Naru Kumari
Naru has one sister and two brothers. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a housewife. They live in a very small hut made of bamboo covered with mud. The village they live in is located in a mountainous area in West India. The climate in that region is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons.
Naru is in elementary school and wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Naru is very helpful, she enjoys helping her mother in household chores. Her favorite color is red and she likes to eat rice and corn. Her favorite game is basketball.
