About Naresh Kumar Ahari
Naresh is from a small, remote village in Western India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. He lives with his parents, one brother, and four sisters in a small mud-hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals, and they don’t have access to electricity. The water well the family uses is over half a mile from their home.
His parents have a little farm on a small field by their hut. Naresh helps them with gardening, fetching water, tending livestock, and babysitting siblings. Naresh aspires to become a teacher or a lawyer one day. He loves to read and enjoys playing cricket and volleyball. His favorite foods are chicken and chapatti. Naresh comes from a Christian family, they attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Naresh needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
