About Manvi Yadav
Manvi Yadav lives with her parents, two brothers and one sister in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located near a river. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 100 meters from their home.
Manvi helps with fetching water. Her father is a driver while her mother is a homemaker. Manvi wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Manvi comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study and pray together daily. Manvi needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
