About Manpreet Kaur
Manpreet lives with her parents, two brothers, and two sisters in small brick and concrete house in a remote village located on a plain of Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals.
Manpreet comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Her father is a laborer, while her mother is a homemaker. Manpreet helps her mother with household chores. Manpreet wants to become a nurse one day. She loves to read and enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite food is rice. Manpreet needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
