About Manish Raikwar

Manish lives with his parents and one sister in a small mud house in a poor rural town in Central India. The climate in this town is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoons. The town is located in a mountainous area. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 1000 meters from their home. Their home has no running water and they must walk to the well every day and carry the water they need.

Manish helps with household chores. His father is a low-wage laborer and his mother is a homemaker. Manish wants to become a nurse one day. He enjoys singing and reading along with playing kho-kho and board games. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, chapatti, and fish.

Please pray for Manish as he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Manish needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniforms, books, school bags, and other basic needs.
