About Manish Gameti

Manish is from the Bheel Tribe and lives with his parents and one brother in a mud house in a small village in Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought season and is located in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and dried cow pies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 300 meters from their home. Their home has no running water.

Manish helps with gardening, fetching water, cooking meals, and doing household chores. His father is a farmer while his mother is a homemaker. Manish wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys dancing, singing, reading, along with playing soccer, cricket, and badminton. His favorite foods are dal, rice, chicken, chapatti and mutton.

Although they are still Hindu, they attend church each Sunday. They are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Manish and his family. Manish needs your help to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
