About Manish Bheel
Note: Manish Bheel had not been doing well in studies and have not returned to MH in January 2019 after the Christmas break.
Manish has experienced first hand the transformative impact of Christ in his family. Devout Hindus for most of their lives, Manish's parents heard the Gospel and came to Christ several years ago. Now, instead of worshipping idols out of fear and tradition, they worship the true God with love and thankfulness. However, living in a Hindu culture that is hostile to Christianity has caused trouble for Manish and his family. Manish and his six siblings have experienced persecution from others in their village because of their faith.
Seeking safety in a Christian environment for their son, Manish's parents sought out the Mercy Home. At the Mercy Home, Manish is able to attend school and increase his knowledge and wisdom. In the future, he hopes to go to college to become a lawyer. Most importantly, Manish now has the opportunity to attend church weekly and to be discipled by mature believers. His brother, Subhash Bheel, also lives at the Mercy Home with him. In his spare time, Manish enjoys playing cricket and carom with his friends in the Mercy Home. His favorite foods are dal, rice, vegetarian dishes, chicken, chapatti, and mutton. His hobbies include reading, dancing, and drawing.
