About Mamta Kumari Gameti
Mamta is from the Bheel Tribe and lives with her parents, grandparents, brother, Jagdish, and sister, Nirma, in a mud house in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and dried cow pies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 400 meters from their home.
Mamta helps with household chores, gardening, tending livestock, fetching water from the well, and cooking meals. Her father is a farmer while her mother is a homemaker. Mamta wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys dancing and singing along with making crafts and playing Handkerchief Tag. Her favorite foods are chicken, chapatti, and mutton.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend church each Sunday. They are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Mamta and her family. Mamta needs your help to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Mamta!
