About Mahi Harijan

Mahi Harijan lives with her parents, one brother, Atul, and three sisters, Dolli, Priyanka, and Sweta, in a brick and concrete house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and can experience drought seasons. The village is located in the jungle. The family uses propane and wood they collect in the jungle as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is near their home.

Mahi helps with the family choirs. Her mother and father are unskilled low-wage laborers; they work hard to provide for their big family. Mahi wants to break this cycle of poverty and dreams of becoming a nurse one day. In her free time, Mahi enjoys playing soccer and other games with her friends. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.

Please pray for Mahi and her family as they come from a Hindu family with no known believers. Mahi needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs such as school lunches and shoes.

Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Mahi!
