About Lokesh Paragi

Lokesh lives with his parents and his brother Anil in a small mud hut in a remote village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals as they cannot afford propane and they don’t have access to electricity. The water well the family uses is about a third of a mile from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.

Lokesh comes from a Christian family; they attend church each Sunday and a Bible study. Both of his parents are unskilled laborers, which means they get arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields for a little pay. Lokesh helps with fetching water and household chores. Lokesh wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys reading along with playing cricket. His favorite foods are rice and chicken. Lokesh needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Lokesh!
