About Kirti Soni
Kirti comes from a small town in Central India. Kirti has two sisters. Their parents are divorced. Kirti and her sisters ended up living with their dad and stepmother. However, their stepmother was often physically abusive to them and frequently would not give them food. To escape the difficult situation, with father’s permission, Kirti and her sister Akansha were admitted to Mercy Home.
Kirti loves her new Mercy Home family where she feels safe, loved and well taken care of. Kirti wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys dancing and playing carom. She likes a simple meal of rice, dal, chapatti, and vegetables.
