About Karishama Ahari

Karishama lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a mud house in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located near a river. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 500 meters from their home.

Karishama helps her mom with household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Karishama wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys dancing, singing, and reading along with playing volleyball. Her favorite foods are veggies, chicken, and chapatti.

Karishama comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Karishama needs your help to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
