About Kamlesh Gameti
Kamlesh is from the Bheel Tribe and lives with his parents, grandparents, one brother, and a sister in a mud house in a small village in Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons and is located in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and dried cow pies as fuel to cook their meals. Their house has no running water, the water well the family uses is over 500 meters from their home.
Kamlesh helps with gardening, tending livestock, fetching water from the well, and doing household chores. His father is a farmer while his mother is a homemaker. Kamlesh wants to become an engineer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal, rice, veggies chicken, chapatti, and mutton.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend church each Sunday. They are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Kamlesh and his family. Kamlesh needs your help to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
