About Kajal Lallu
Kajal lives in the small village of Gandhigram. It's located atop bluffs overlooking a river. 500 people live in this village. Her father lives and works in Delhi, which is very far away, and is not able to come home very often. She lives with her mother, grandparents and three brothers in a mud house.
Kajal enjoys helping her mother cook for her family. Every day she walks to the village well to draw water and carries it back. She likes to jump rope with her friends. Her favorite food is rice and mutton (goat). Kajal also enjoys reading.
