About Jyoti Raj
Jyoti is the only child in her family. Jyoti's father is the Hindi (language) typist and holds a Bible College degree also. He is a first generation Christian and the only believer in his father's family. His father is a powerful man at a nearby village. He was also the village head man. Jyoti's parents believe that because of this background, their daughter will be safer in the Mercy Home and also get a better opportunity to learn deeply and personally about the heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is Jyoti's first year in the Mercy Home. She is now in 11th grade. All the Mercy Home girls have become Jyoti's friends and they all are very helpful. Jyoti loves the devotion hour because she learns new things about the true God. She is also happy to get good education. Her favorite color is blue and favorite game is tennis. Jyoti wants to become a nurse and serve sick people.
