About Joy Daniel
Joy Daniel lives with his parents and one sister in a brick and mud hut in a small village in Central India. The village is located near a river where the climate is hot. This area is often experiencing drought seasons. Their house has no electricity. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 200 meters from their home.
Joy helps his parents with gardening and other household chores. His father is a farm laborer and his mother is a homemaker. Joy wants to become an engineer one day. He enjoys reading and playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Joy comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and read the Bible daily. Joy needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
