About Jonika Kaur
Jonika lives with her parents, brother, and sister in a brick-and-mud house in a small village in North-West India. The village is located in a valley with a hot climate that also experiences monsoons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.
Jonika helps with household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Jonika wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Jonika comes from a Christian family. They are attending church each Sunday. Jonika needs your help to provide her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Jonika!
