About Jacklin John

Jacklin lives with her parents and one sister in a brick house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is near their home, however, they have no running water at their home and must carry it in from the well.

Jacklin helps with household chores and watching her younger brother. Her father is a shopkeeper while her mother is a homemaker. Jacklin wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading along with playing soccer and badminton. Her favorite foods are dal, rice, vegetarian, chicken, chapatti, and mutton.

Jacklin comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, and pray together. Jacklin needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniforms, books, school bags, and other needs.
