About Istuti Santosh Kumar
Istuti Santosh Kumar lives with her parents and one sister in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located near a river. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 100 meters from their home. Istuti comes from a Christian family. They are attending church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study and pray together daily.
Istuti helps her parents with fetching water and household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Istuti wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading. She likes to play Kho-Kho with her friends. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetarian and chapatti. Istuti Santosh needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
