About Gagandeep Charanjit Kaur
Gagandeep lives with her parents and two sisters in a small brick and mud house in a remote village located in the plains of North India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon seasons. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their home.
Gagandeep helps her mother with household chores. Her father is an unskilled low-wage laborer and her mother is a homemaker. Gagandeep wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys dancing and reading, along with playing carom and other games. Her favorite foods are dal, rice, veggies, and chapatti.
Although the family is Sikh, they are attending church each Sunday and exploring Christianity. Please pray for Gagandeep and her family as they study the Bible and pray they will come to know Jesus through these studies. Gagandeep needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other essential needs such as shoes and school lunches.
